UV lamp at coil
An ultraviolet accessory is usually installed near the cooling coil and can expose eyes and skin when accessed.
What to observe
Locate the lamp and its power interlock before any cabinet opening.
A field example
A glowing lamp does not prove that the coil face is free of dirt. Keep the light shielded during service and distinguish lamp maintenance from cleaning the nearby coil or drain pan.

Lamp cleaning and replacement require manufacturer-specific handling, shielding and safe disposal as applicable.

Do not infer that a UV lamp cleans ducts or makes an entire system sterile.
