Post-renovation furnace protection
Construction dust can overload filters and foul blower or coil if the system was operated during dusty work.

Note whether returns were sealed, what work occurred and how filters looked afterward.

If the furnace ran while drywall sanding took place, inspect the filter and downstream blower for passed dust. Ask about the particular affected path before buying a generalized recurring duct plan.
