Condensate pan cleaning
The cooling coil's pan collects water during air-conditioning operation, making drainage and slope as important as surface deposits.
What to observe
Look for standing water, staining, overflow evidence and the drain connection.
A field example
A pan that is clean but still holds water may be pitched poorly or draining slowly. Verify discharge while cooling runs instead of judging the job by a dry wipe immediately after shutdown.
What the written work should say
A scope should include cleaning the pan as appropriate and verifying free drainage after reassembly.
Where this task stops
Repeated standing water is a drainage or installation issue; wiping the pan is temporary.
